I haven’t really been sleeping great since being in Paris and it’s gone beyond annoying. I blame the fact that my couch/bed is one step away from my dining table, 3 steps away from my bathroom, and 5 steps away from my kitchen. It’s hard to switch off when you have to convert your couch in your living room to your bed and feel “settled” at the end of the process.
I’d been holding off until heading to London to try to get my little hands on some natural sleep remedies while I could speak English. On my expedition to Boots I grabbed some “Rescue Night Spray” which sounded promising. I couldn’t wait to try it. Once I was home on my first night back in Paris I took to my pillow and sprayed two pumps, a modest amount, I didn’t want to drown in the stuff. I was waiting to be lulled by the “Bach flower, Cherry Plum and White Chestnut essence” into the best sleep ever. I couldn’t smell anything so I gave it another few sprays and waited for the magic to happen.
It didn’t. Turns out the Rescue Night Spray goes on your tongue and not your linen.
