I’m pretty confident that regardless of where in the world I am, if you take me to a town I will most certainly be able to find you a florist. It’s like I have an inbuilt radar of where these gorgeous places are located as I never struggle to find a shop showered in fleurs. I may also have an inbuilt radar to refrigerators as I never struggle to find the location and therefore contents of those either, but that’s another story for another day.
A few weekends ago Tim and I took to the road and headed down to Byron Bay to waste a day. We are having the most stunning winter weather and despite the cool, the sun was shining so we headed to The Farm for some fresh air. Simply enough, The Farm has a restaurant, gourmet deli and bakery, a florist, chickens, pigs, horses and hay bales just for good measure which officially make it a farm and the most adorable property to visit. You’d think this sustainable little farm couldn’t really offer much more, until I walked towards the bathrooms and was stopped in my tracks by the sight of a slow cooking spit roast. Seriously you guys, when the heavens collide and create a combination such a pork roast and roses it’s a hard combination to beat.
