Baguettes, cheese and french champagne. It really needs no further explanation but that wouldn’t make for the most exciting post I suppose. With Bastille Day just gone our little city held its annual French Festival along the river. Not going to lie I got a little “fan girl” regarding have a bit of France here at home after 7 months having passed since my return from living in Paris. To hear the accent and eat a proper baguette filled my little heart with happiness. Any place where you can eat an enormous baguette as you walk through a market with no judgement is a happy place to me.
Oh and to the event organisers who were running the competition to win a trip to France. Well Tim and I bought two tickets and you haven’t called me yet, which is cool, I know you’re probably busy and have forgotten to tell us we won. But we’re ready to go, our passports are packed and you can contact me in the comments below. It’s completely okay, I forgive you for your tardiness and look forward to our trip nonetheless 🙂
